Photodiode module
Photodiode module contains a photodiode, a transimpedance amplifier (a current-voltage converter, cvc) and an optional -5V bias generator for the photodiode.
Placing a bias voltage across the photodiode puts it into photoconductive mode where linearity (especially at higher photocurrents) is increased and diode saturates at much larger intensities. Using photoconductive mode also increases the dark current of the sensor.
When using photodiode in zero bias mode (photovoltaic mode), dark current is minimal and sensor can be used in very low light situations.

-3dB bandwidth: 36 kHz
